Gas Switch
Fixed and mobile contacts belonging to main circuit are placed in an epoxy cover. Epoxy cover can resist the thermal and dynamic impacts occurring during opening and closing operations of the switch. Precautions are taken against fracture of the pole in unexpected over pressure situations.
- The SF6 gas, of which pressure is elevated after being compressed in pressure cell, is directed onto the arc and arc is cooled.
- Insulation between contacts are reformed rapidly and deflagration is prevented.
